Welcome to the website of the European Council of WS.
The Widows Sons is an international fraternity of Freemasons who share a common interest in motorcycling.
The movement was founded in the United States in the late 1990s by Freemason bikers who wanted to merge their passion for motorcycling with their Masonic values. Since then, the organisation has gradually grown and now has members all over the world.
The aims of the Widows Sons are or The Widows Sons place particular emphasis on
- Conducting charitable events, supporting philanthropic causes and assisting those in need, but with a particular focus on children.
- The exchange of knowledge, the development of friendship and brotherhood in mutual respect while sharing a commitment to Masonic principles.
- Sharing a passion for motorbike riding, exploring new routes and the camaraderie that comes with it while fostering an enriching cross-cultural dialogue and celebrating the diversity of Masonic traditions.
The prerequisites for joining the movement are
- To have been initiated.
- To ride a motorbike of at least 500CC.
- Respect for the rules of conduct, road safety, etc.

The European Council of Widows Sons is a communication organisation that gathers and coordinates the different chapters of the member countries. It facilitates communication and information exchange between chapters and provides a platform for chapters to meet and get to know each other across Europe.
It also helps to facilitate the planning and coordination of activities related to each chapter or joint activities between our member countries.
It welcomes all countries in Europe who are willing to join us and who accept the basis defined in the founding documents called *ROMA 2020* which you will find on the following pages.
If you are a biker and an initiate and you would like to join the WS, you will find in annex the contact address for your country of residence (if it is a member of the Council).
If you are already a member of the WS from a country that has not yet joined the European Council, you will find on this page the address to contact me. I will be happy to meet you and give you more information.
